High Five Guitar

Well unfortunately i didnt get a chance to record the banjola before i had to give it back to my friend.  Bummer, i really wanted to, i have a cool clawhammer version of Lord Mayo that sounds really neat.  So i will do the next best thing, and high five my guitar to record it. Its just a term Steve Baughman came up with, replacing the standard fifth string of your guitar with a light first string.  Though in this case i am going to swap out the regular sixth string for a light first string, and tune it up to G.  So the tuning will be gGDGCD.  Just like i had the banjola tuned.  So check back soon for a clawhammer version of Lord Mayo.  Not the conventional way to play it, but i think it sounds nice.
